From the Suburbs to the City in Pursuit of Quality Schooling

Chicago school

Over the last couple of years, there has been a growing trend of families moving from the suburbs back into the cities. For years, the trend was for most young couples living in the city to move out to the suburbs when it came time to raise a family. The main reason for this trend was the search for better schooling for their children. The Chicago Tribune just wrote an article discussing why things are changing. Thanks to a grassroots movement comprised of involved parents, active administration and enthusiastic teachers, the reputations of many Chicago public schools are improving and attendance and enrollment are increasing.

Aside from better schooling, more and more people are having trouble finding reasons why living in the suburbs is superior to living in the city. Children growing up in the city will be raised in a more diverse setting and will also be closer to all the life and culture that the city has to offer.

The Chicago condos that The Gammonley Group have to offer fit right along with this trend. They are great for that transitional stage between being a young married couple to being young parents. And nowadays you won’t have to worry about moving once you reach that second stage. Your family will still have all the benefits of living in the city without having to sacrifice quality schooling.
